Over the next few weeks, I’ll be visiting schools in Bognor Regis, Norwich, Woking, Beulah Hill and Walthamstow. I will deliver legal education workshops to over 250 young people.
Through immersive and fun activities, they’ll learn about the rule of law, their rights and responsibilities, how our justice system, and more. It’s all about making their first experience with the law positive and empowering!
These workshops aren’t just about law – they’re about building life skills like leadership, teamwork, resilience, integrity, adaptability and problem-solving.
Some students may discover a passion for law, others may become better citizens, and all will gain a deeper appreciation for the rule of law as a fundamental right worth defending.
Public legal education is crucial for our young people as it equips them with knowledge, confidence, and skills. Investment in our young people will help us all in terms of social mobility and economic growth.
